Cooked Persian cherries sweetened and served over basmati rice

After reading the descriptions of Persian food in the book “The Stationery Shop” by Marjan Kamali back in 2019, it inspired me to try Persian food, and I found Kababi Cafe. Until COVID, I’d do the weekday buffet every couple months. First time back since the start of COVID, and I purchased the Chicken and Cherries rice and Yellow Split Pea soup today. OMG the food is still delicious.
